Enjoy a natural Wellness High

Kafi-Runners-High

We love and enjoy running to clear our minds, think straight and get some fresh air in the process. Sometimes we just do not have the luxury of time to prepare and go for a quick run but still end up having a very long and exhaustive day. However we do need to recover, re-energize and re-invigorate and hence we at KAFI created the drink Runners’ High to help you prepare for any adventures and daily chores which lie ahead.

What goodness is included in Runners’ High:

What benefits are imparted by the Drink

Recover Smarter

Spirulina is an algae and a natural plant-based protein which contains BCAAs — branched-chain amino acids which reduces fatigue and helps speed up recovery post-workout. It helps in decreasing body stress which helps you to have more resources available for handling whatever comes your way at work or at home.

Complete Nutrition

Spirulina contains protein, Vitamin B1 (thiamine), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Vitamin B3 (niacin), copper, iron, magnesium, potassium & manganese. So gram for gram spirulina may be the single most nutritious food on the planet. Spirulina has both omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids and the quality of the protein in spirulina is considered excellent — comparable to eggs. It gives all the essential amino acids that you need.

It is often claimed that spirulina contains vitamin B12, but this is false. It has pseudovitamin B12, which has not been shown to be effective in humans.

Antioxidants

Spirulina is a fantastic source of antioxidants which helps repair and prevent cellular damage, which contributes to a wide range of illnesses and diseases. Its main active component is called phycocyanin. This antioxidant substance also gives spirulina its unique blue-green color. Phycocyanin can fight free radicals and inhibit production of inflammatory signaling molecules, providing impressive antioxidant effects

Its Natural

Spirulina is dairy free, gluten free, soy free, GMO free and grown in natural conditions, so its health benefits accommodate almost all dietary requirements. It was once classified as a plant because of "its richness in plant pigments as well as its ability of photosynthesis," but recent studies on its genetics, physiology and biochemical properties caused it to move in the natural bacteria kingdom.
