Beetroot is a superfood grown locally in UK. It is tremendous health benefits and require no added nutrients via fertilizers or require no pesticides which makes it naturally organic. It is the taproot portion of a beet plant also known as the table beet, garden beet, red beet, or golden beet.

 

Growing Region

Beetroot is grown on the fertile soils of the Cambridgeshire fens in the heart of England. The fens offer the perfect combination of soil, sun and water to produce a sweet, full flavored root. Beetroots need a lot of sunshine to grow and acquire its sweetness.

 

Environmentally Friendly

Beetroot is one of the most environmentally friendly crops which need not treatment with pesticides. It is best suited to cooler growing conditions found in northern Europe.

Go Matcha

Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It is made by stone grinding the sencha leaves from green tea plants which are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest, with the stems and veins removed during processing.

Growing Region

Our matcha grows in the beautiful region of Uji, Japan. It is grown without chemical fertilizers and is harvested only once a year, giving the leaves amazing matcha nutrients and ample time to develop to their full potential. This helps the matcha to obtain it’s signatory sweet smooth flavor and no hint of bitterness.

It is also environmentally friendly as it is grown without chemicals. Growing tea plants for matcha requires ideal temperature and precipitation amount for tea plants to flourish.
